FAQ
There has not been a single lens reflex camera body that could accept standard SLR lenses and multi-shot digital backs ... until now.

Built on the strengths of the one-shot DigiFlex camera body, the all new Horseman DigiFlex II now offers an SLR in the standard 24x36mm format featuring motor driven shutter advance/mirror action and an electromagnetic shutter release.

The electronic shutter makes the Horseman DigiFlex II suitable for use with virtually all makes of high-end digital camera back including the latest generation of multi-shot backs - Imacon FlexFrame 3020 for instance, and camera backs using the new Kodak 4x4 cm CCD.

A true SLR camera body with built-in focal plane shutter and reflex viewer; the Horseman DigiFlex II accepts any lens with the Nikon F mount. This includes super wide-angle 14mm and fish-eye lenses, enabling true wide-angle shooting with digital backs for the first time. Nikon F mount lenses are usable regardless of focal length, optical design or mechanical construction.  Zoom and macro lenses can also be used with the Horseman DigiFlex II.

Horseman DigiFlex II accepts any digital back fitted with a Hasselblad mount and uses the full -- not truncated -- 24x36mm frame size.  The built-in CPU generates the interface and timing signals needed for perfect CCD activation.  DigiFlex II can communicate with all 6 mio multi-shot digital backs, the 16 mio one-shot  Kodak DCS Pro Back, the 16 mio one-shot Phase One LightPhase H20 and the latest 16 mio multi-shot Imacon Ixpress 96.

Panoramic QuickTimeTM data files can be made with a fish-eye lens, while perspective correction becomes possible by using shift lenses. The Horseman View Camera converter (VCC) can provide rise, fall, shift, swing and tilt operations (with lenses 80mm or longer).

Thanks to its built-in metal focal plane shutter (1 - 1/2000 sec, B) and rugged construction, the new Horseman DigiFlex II can be used with the same ease as any top quality 35mm SLR while avoiding duplication of costly lenses and other equipment.
